Paintings

My paintings work in series - each is a compilation of works on a specific theme. Reflexions on nature, being human, society, and art, are carried with by a thoughful exploration of modern painting techniques. My "painting series" as I call them, are a playful invitation to reconsider beauty. By mixing everyday items - rocks, gold powder, leaves; and techniques - paint on canvas, mixed media, paint on rag paper, pouring, splashing, collage... I am asking visitors to join me on my journey. I see my work as an invitation to (re)consider something, suggesting, a room for another but myself to reflect and project their own thoughts.
